I like the rolling physics of the egg. But I got stuck on the (I assume) fake dying caused by the spike, I can't control after the dialog bubble shows.
I am sorry to hear you couldn't finish the game, I tried playing through the game again (browser version) and nothing went wrong after the fake game over animation. You're meant to not be able to control the egg before the animation but gain back control after the speech bubble comes out.
hmm tried again, cannot repro it. But I do remember when I got stuck, the egg is on the left corner instead of the position where it is falling to. So might be caused by the glitch. I'm playing on the browser.
The next level is hard lol...the pad bounce based on the speed of the egg, so I have to move it fast, but when it is fast it's hard to set it at the correct position to bounce...
I like it! I see that the bounce pad's power is determined by the speed at which your egg is rolling. Typical platforming with an egg-cellent twist. (I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself)
Nice concept! I didn't make it past the first few levels because the platforming was too frustrating. The bounce pads didn't behave as expected; maybe they could completely reset the player's y-velocity?
Other than the platforming, I love how the egg wobbles when it moves on the ground, and the musical jingle and lighting effects are cool. Wanted to finish but couldn't pass the first level with the locked door.
The first level with a locked door (the third level), to beat it you have to go to the left , there will be a button, click it to open the locked door.
Hope this helps.
